Security Installation Technical Manager

Marcomm Integrated Business Solutions, a Division of Telecon Inc., is seeking a highly skilled Security Installation Technical Manager to join our team in Vaughan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the technical expertise, execution, and delivery of physical security projects for our clients with a focus on safety.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical security technologies and project management, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. They will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that all physical security projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

This is a Hybrid-Remote role, where the Manager will have the opportunity to work remotely but will be required to conduct regular site visits. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work with Project Manager to complete all physical security installations, prioritizing safety at all times.
  2. Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  3. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for physical security technical matters.
  4. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure successful completion.
  5. Ensure that physical security projects are completed within established timelines and budgets.
  6. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management.
  7. Ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
  8. Coordinate with other departments to ensure that physical security projects align with organizational goals and priorities.
  9. Be involved in the recruitment and training of Security Technicians to company standards.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience managing physical security projects, including CCTV, Access Control, intrusion alarm systems, and Intercom systems.
  2. Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  3. Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Knowledge of physical security technologies and best practices.
  5. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
  7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  8. Must have a valid G license and access to a personal vehicle.
