About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Specialist to join our Information Technology team at E.S. Fox Limited.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing custom applications using Oracle, Microsoft, and other development tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance existing custom applications using Oracle, Microsoft, and other development tools.
  • Provide support to existing application modules.
  • Troubleshoot production problems, determining cause and problem resolution.
  • Participate in the evolution of critical systems as changes in business, process, and technology emerge.
  • Develop functional requirement specifications for new enhancements and applications.
  • Write high-quality and well-documented code according to accepted standards.
  • Perform quality testing of changes to ensure they function correctly and match pre-determined test results in advance of user acceptance.
Requirements
  • Completion of a University or College degree/diploma in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or related field.
  • SQL development
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Solid communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates leadership skills and independence.
  • Solid understanding of emerging technologies.

This role offers competitive compensation, including an attractive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
