About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Siding Installer to join our team at Deep Exterior Solution Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing exterior siding on residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Determine layout and installation procedures
  • Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
  • Supervise other workers
  • Utilize hand and power tools
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Provide physical accessibility accommodations, visual accessibility accommodations, and auditory accessibility accommodations
  • Participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth, veterans, and Indigenous people
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations
  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees
  • Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination and offer phased retirement options
  • Provide workspace accommodations, such as age-appropriate ergonomic considerations, to meet the physical needs of mature workers
  • Offer resources to help mature workers plan their retirement
  • Participate in government or community programs that support members of visible minorities
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities
