About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our innovative team at SHOEBOX Ltd. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our cutting-edge web-based hearing health products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the design and development of new web applications, leveraging your expertise in front-end and back-end technologies.
  2. Collaborate with our international development team to ensure the quality, relevance, and performance of our evolving codebase.
  3. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from specification to design, development, and deployment.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, and contribute to the product and technical roadmaps of the company.
  5. Produce clean, maintainable, high-quality code, and provide constructive code reviews.
  6. Mentor junior developers and participate in weekly technical workshops, code reviews, and pair programming.
  7. Assist in technical story writing and provide recommendations for improvements in the overall development process.
  8. Attend and conform to end-user security awareness training, information security policies, non-disclosure agreements, regulatory or contractual requirements.
Requirements
  1. Hands-on experience with Clojure Script.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in front-end web applications.
  3. At least 5 years of experience in back-end web applications (node.js, Ruby on Rails...).
  4. At least 3 years of experience in React.js.
  5. Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
  6. BSc or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  7. Proven ability to produce high-quality code and provide constructive code reviews.
  8. Ability to learn, analyze, and adopt new technologies.
  9. Strong communication skills across all channels: visual, oral, and written.
  10. Full professional proficiency in English.
Assets
  1. Knowledge in Audiology.
  2. Knowledge of Hebrew Language.
  3. Familiarity with working in an Agile environment.
  4. Experience in Functional Programming.

SHOEBOX Ltd. is a SaaS developer of a Digital Hearing Care Platform enabling the performance of anything from screening and diagnostic to hearing aid fitting. Our platform features Tele-Audiology and Home Audiology applications.

We aim to democratize and transform the hearing care ecosystem, providing outstanding hearing care to everyone through research and innovation.

With our products, hearing testing can be conducted outside of a sound booth and without the need for clunky equipment, allowing for testing almost anywhere, anytime, worldwide.
