As a Resident Care Worker, you will be part of a collaborative team that works together to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, responding to resident/client/family concerns, engaging with other agencies involved in resident/client care, attending in-services to develop knowledge and skills, and upholding and promoting the organization's values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality, and integrity as set out in the Code of Conduct.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for assisting in maintaining a safe and clean environment, responding to resident/client/family concerns, engaging with other agencies involved in resident/client care, attending in-services to develop knowledge and skills, and upholding and promoting the organization's values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality, and integrity as set out in the Code of Conduct. To succeed in this role, you will require a graduate-level education in Health Care Aide program or provincial equivalent certificate program with minimum 500 hours of theory & practicum, experience working with seniors in the community health services setting, strong written and oral communication skills, organizational and time management skills, interpersonal and customer focus skills, sound skills and knowledge of providing personal care duties, current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification, and ability to perform tasks that are necessary for the position.
