ASPICE Cybersecurity Engineer (ISO/SAE 21434)

Sopra Steria, a leading European technology company, is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Functional Safety and Cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for providing expertise and guidance to our clients in the aerospace, automotive, defense, and rail sectors.

Your primary focus will be on helping our clients achieve Functional Safety (ISO 26262, DO-178C, DO-254, ARP-4761, ARP-4754, EN50128) and cybersecurity certifications (DO-326A, ISO 21434, UN-R155) for their critical embedded technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity frameworks and management systems (CSMS) in accordance with UN R155.
  • Coach and train automotive system and software development teams to ensure they meet quality targets and apply best practices in their processes and methods.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify areas for improvement in our clients' development processes and ensure they meet applicable cybersecurity standard requirements.
  • Conduct risk analysis and provide guidance on secure implementation of complex systems, hardware, and software.
  • Participate in technical discussions and business development efforts.
  • Provide guidance on cybersecurity testing and testing plan development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in the automotive, aerospace, medical, or nuclear sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of ASPICE and QMS, with a focus on cybersecurity.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards such as J3061, ISO 21434, and IEC 62443.
  • Experience in hardware and embedded software development, as well as system-level understanding.
  • Full system development lifecycle experience, including requirements, design, implementation, verification, and testing.
  • Knowledge of implementing cybersecurity solutions in embedded systems, such as secure boot, secure diagnostic, and secure on-board communication.

  • Knowledge of security tools such as ANSYS Medini and Itemis.
  • Experience with project management and productivity tools such as MS Office and Jira.
