Senior Drafter Opportunity at Wood

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Senior Drafter to join our Power Solutions' engineering team in Vancouver, BC. As a vital member of our team, you will support project teams in delivering quality engineering documents.

We are looking for a candidate with a successful track record and a passion for challenges in a fast-paced environment. If you thrive on delivering high-quality work and have a strong background in CAD design, this is the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project teams in delivering quality engineering documents
  • Develop and maintain CAD designs and models
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and completeness
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Computer Aided Design technology from an accredited University/College or equivalent
  • Minimum 7-year drafting experience in transmission, substation, and distribution
  • Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD 3D, Revit or Civil 3D
  • Eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
  • MS Office
