About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Part-time Customer Experience Representative to join our team at Value Buds Lloydminster, AB.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting customers, engaging in conversation, and building relationships to understand specific needs
  • Facilitating a welcoming and positive atmosphere for everyone in the store
  • Educating customers about cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods

Day-to-Day Operations:

Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting our culture and brand by participating in merchandising and promotional activities
  • Working in partnership with Store Managers and other team members to generate sales
  • Maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry legislation, trends, and new products
  • Participating in routine store maintenance and ensuring cleanliness is a priority
  • Completing customer transactions on the POS system and adhering to all cash and Loss Prevention procedures
  • Monitoring inventory and re-stocking products regularly

Regulatory Adherence:

Responsibilities include:

  • Complying with all OH&S policies and procedures
  • Supporting and promoting Nova Cannabis's and AGCO's social responsibility programs
  • Complying with Nova Cannabis's policies, standard operating procedures, and practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
  • Minimum 2 years of retail and/or hospitality experience
  • Cannabis, liquor, or healthcare experience is preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Sell Safe certification
  • Valid Qualified Cannabis Worker Certificate (QCW)
  • Must complete and pass a Criminal Record Check
  • Working knowledge of regulations as it pertains to selling cannabis in Alberta
