Bookkeeper and Financial Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper and Financial Administrator to join our team at Grewal Guyatt LLP. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.
**Job Summary:**
The successful candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting, excellent computer skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals
* Prepare cheques for payroll and other financial transactions
* Reconcile bank statements and identify any discrepancies
* Assist with preparing financial reports and statements
* Develop and implement effective systems for managing financial data
* Provide support to other members of the accounting department as needed
**Requirements:**
* 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting
* Strong knowledge of accounting software, including QuickBooks and MS Excel
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
* High school diploma or equivalent required
