Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Lorenzo Moro, Anne Graham. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our living and working spaces.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Shopping and Errands: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • General Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (note: this is not a condition of employment).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, patience, and honesty.
Working Conditions

40 hours per week, permanent position, English language required.
