Food Service Supervisor: Leading Food Preparation and Service Teams

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our food preparation and service teams. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that high-quality standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Cost Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring optimal usage and minimizing waste.
- Hiring and Staff Management: Hire food service staff, managing their performance and development to meet business needs.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in food service or related field.
