Job Title: Gas Bar Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Gas Bar Attendant to join our team at Timberlands Gas Bar in Red Deer. As a Gas Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, dispensing fuel and propane, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service at the pump
  • Dispense fuel and propane with precision
  • Perform windshield cleaning and check oil/fluid levels
  • Process fuel and merchandise payments efficiently
  • Receive, unpack, and display merchandise with care
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform car wash cleaning duties as needed – applicable locations
  • Support marketing initiatives to enhance customer experience
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age requirement: 16 years old (as per government regulations for dispensing fuel and propane)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
  • Previous experience in fuel dispensing is an asset; training available
