Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards, and identify any irregularities.
  • Ensure Compliance with relevant regulations and standards for all repairs and inspections.
  • Accurate Documentation is essential, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in accordance with guidelines.
  • Equipment Maintenance is crucial to guarantee accurate and reliable testing outcomes.
  • Training and Guidance of junior technicians is a key responsibility.
  • Root Cause Analysis and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives are essential.
  • Safety Protocols must be followed, and a clean and organized environment maintained.
  • Additional Tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Post-Secondary Education or equivalent in Aerospace Technology or a related field.
  • 4+ Years of Experience as a CMT Technician in the Aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCCA or other applicable governing body) or equivalent.
  • Valid AME-M License or DND equivalent certification.
  • Controlled Goods Program Clearance is required.
  • Knowledge of Composite Materials and manufacturing processes is essential.
  • Computer and MS Office Skills are necessary.
  • Strong Communication Skills - both written and verbal.
