Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Unity Electric Limited. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install underground wiring and cables, ensuring that all work is done in accordance with safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Electrical Testing and Troubleshooting: Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults to ensure the integrity of circuits, and troubleshoot and isolate faults to minimize downtime.
  • Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand electrical system designs and requirements.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other technicians and supervisors to ensure that electrical systems are installed and maintained efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
