About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Sirat Truck Repair Inc. as a Heavy Equipment Repair Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of commercial vehicles to identify and repair any mechanical issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
  • Parts and Labour Estimation: Accurately estimate parts and labour costs for repairs, ensuring transparency and fairness in our pricing.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality repairs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team of mechanics and technicians to ensure seamless workflow and efficient repair processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy equipment repair or a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent overtime required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy equipment, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
