About the Role:

Imperva is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Threat Analyst to join our team. As a Security Analyst, you will be responsible for tackling and solving complex field issues for enterprise customers in combating automated threats targeting their web applications, APIs, and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large amounts of traffic to websites to find global correlations and patterns.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to implement mitigation strategies to stop automated website attacks.
  • Work with clients to investigate anomalies and provide easily consumable but detailed evidence for all actions taken.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Imperva's Bot Detection platform and stay up-to-date with the latest bot and bot operator tactics.
  • Provide recommendations to customers on how to mitigate or eliminate the issues caused by automated attacks.
  • Participate in presentations with customers on a regular basis.
  • Work with Imperva's internal threat research, data science, and product teams to deliver actionable intelligence that informs future product enhancements.
  • Use data visualization tools to create consumable reports to quickly validate findings and demonstrate the efficacy of actions taken.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Cybersecurity or Bot Management space.
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or relevant technical degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and customer skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Looker.
  • Experience with basic scripts in one or more languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Ability to lead and work independently as well as tightly with a team.
  • Proficiency in English language required for effective communication within an English-speaking environment.
