About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Deep Learning Compiler Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC. As a key member of our AWS Neuron team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions that optimize the performance of deep learning workloads on our custom chips.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solve challenging technical problems and design innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.
  • Build high-quality, highly available, always-on products that meet the needs of our large customer base.
  • Research and implement solutions that deliver the best possible experiences for customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions and provide technical input.
  • Work in a startup-like development environment, where you'll always be working on the most important stuff.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
