Job Title: Inventory Management Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Squamish.

Job Summary:

The Inventory Management Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, ensuring accurate stock levels, and maintaining a well-organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties
  • Authorize return of merchandise and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or inventory management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
