Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, design team, and other store personnel.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff members to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Store Operations
    • Assign sales staff to duties and ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
    • Authorize payments by cheque and manage store finances.
    • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
    • Authorize returns and exchanges, and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail management role.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule
    • 35 hours per week.
