About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced retail store supervisor to lead our team at Asengana. This is a permanent full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week in an air-conditioned environment.

As the ideal candidate, you will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in the field. You will be responsible for assigning sales workers to duties, authorizing returns, establishing work schedules, and preparing reports on sales volumes and personnel matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring optimal workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Authorize returns and refunds, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Establish work schedules that meet business needs and employee availability.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights for business growth.
  • Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues promptly and professionally.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, promoting teamwork and productivity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in retail management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in an air-conditioned environment, with occasional exposure to varying temperatures and humidity levels.

The salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
