We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cold Storage Specialist to join our team at PRT. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for the efficient management of stock and inventory, ensuring that our products are stored and shipped in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock levels, including computerized record keeping systems and data entry.
- Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate the receipt and shipment of goods, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and that products are stored and handled properly.
- Stock Quality and Inventory: Monitor stock quality and inventory levels, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues.
- Thawing and Preparation: Thaw stock prior to shipping and prepare products for distribution.
- Crop and Materials Inventory: Maintain accurate records of crop and materials inventory, including tracking and monitoring of stock levels.
- Assistance with Crop Irrigation and Measuring: Assist with crop irrigation and measuring, ensuring that our products are of the highest quality.
- Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers and PRT CSR's, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Assistance with Quality Control: Assist with quality control of sowing and lift, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.
You will work closely with our Nursery Workers and report directly to the Nursery Manager. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to our customers, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence.
Requirements- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required, as well as certification for operating power mobile equipment (i.e., Forklift, Skid Steer).
- Level 1 or 2 First Aid Certificate: A Level 1 or 2 First Aid certificate is required.
- Appropriate Work Attire: You will be required to wear appropriate work attire, including safety gear and personal protective equipment.
- Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills: Strong organizational, record keeping, and attention to detail skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, as well as the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Ability to Lift and Carry: You will be required to lift and carry up to 45lbs, as well as stand for lengthy periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.
We offer a competitive hourly wage of $23.00 to start, increasing to $23.50 after a probationary period of 3 months, as well as a supportive team environment, a strong safety culture, and a commitment to the environment.
