We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intermediate CAD Technician to join our team at Alpine Engineering Ltd. in Kelowna. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for applying your expertise in Civil 3D to deliver high-quality design projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge to create accurate and detailed engineering drawings.
- Prepare and review cost estimates, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with the design team to create construction and contract documents.
- Develop and maintain organized files and documentation of all drawings and revisions.
- Work independently from a home office, with the option to work in the office.
- Post-secondary training in a drafting program or related experience.
- Registered or eligible to be registered with ASTTBC as a Civil Technologist/Technician.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, or 2+ years with relevant training and experience.
- Strong knowledge of drafting principles, techniques, and standards.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and translate them into accurate engineering drawings.
- A dynamic and rewarding work environment.
