Machinist Technician

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at SICOM INDUSTRIES LTD. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machine tools, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring the quality of manufactured products.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to ensure optimal performance
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements
- Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, ensuring precision and accuracy
- Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, maintaining inspection records and completing inspection reports
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers
- Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, ensuring efficient production and quality control
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
- Strong understanding of machine tools, manufacturing processes, and quality control procedures
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and precision
