Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and check transactions.
  • Process returns, exchanges, and refunds while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap area, shelves, and floors.
  • Stock shelves, rotate merchandise, and ensure an attractive store display.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor all entrances and exits, requesting proof of payment when necessary.
Work Environment

As a Cashier Sales Associate at Dawson Creek Husky, you can expect a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with a variety of tasks and responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to work independently as well as part of a team, with regular feedback and coaching from management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • A valid ID and reliable transportation (if required).
