About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Electronics Technician to join our team at MTL Aerostructure. As an Electrical and Electronics Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the design, development, and production of our aerospace products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop electrical and electronics systems for our aerospace products.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of electrical and electronics systems to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
  • Manufacturing and Quality Control: Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure the production of electrical and electronics components meets quality and safety standards.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to internal teams and external customers on electrical and electronics-related issues.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical and electronics engineering, with a focus on aerospace applications.
  • Skills: Proficiency in 3D graphic software, AutoCAD, CATIA, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Word.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in the aircraft manufacturing, commercial air carrier, corporate aviation, general aviation, or military aviation industries.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to obtain a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, initiative, judgement, reliability, and team player skills.
