Key Responsibilities
The Provincial Trauma Program Manager will oversee the overall management of the Trauma Program, working closely with the Provincial Director and Senior Medical Director to provide strategic leadership. This includes:

* Managing provincial operations, encompassing education initiatives, quality improvement programs, trauma prevention, research, and the trauma registry
* Direct responsibility for Central Zone operations, including the trauma consult service and virtual clinic
* Developing, implementing, and evaluating program initiatives, ensuring alignment with Nova Scotia Health's strategic priorities

Working Relationships
The Provincial Trauma Program Manager will establish and maintain strategic partnerships and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, multidisciplinary teams, and patients.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a health-related discipline
- Master's degree in health related discipline, health administration, business administration or related subject preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience and responsibilities
- Equivalent experience and/or alternative education may be considered
- Knowledge and/or experience working in trauma care or trauma system management/leadership
- Demonstrated interpersonal effectiveness through highly skilled oral and written communication
- Ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- High level of judgement; group management and facilitation skills; ability to effectively deal with diverse individuals and cultures
