Job Title: Sales Receptionist

The Sales Receptionist is a vital member of the Brian Jessel BMW team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service to clients, staff, and suppliers.
  • Meet and greet all clients in the showroom or on the lot, directing them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Answer switchboard calls and direct them to the relevant department, person, or voicemail.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including faxing, photocopying, mail distribution, and filing.
  • Stock incoming vehicles, print purchase orders, and create window stickers.
  • Maintain office equipment and showroom supplies, including paper in the fax machine and printers, and brochures on the shelves.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the dealership's inventory and layout to assist customers.
  • Receive and send couriers.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the showroom, customer lounge, and reception desk areas.
  • Use MS Office to create spreadsheets, transcribe correspondence, and other documents as needed.
  • Collaborate with the New Car Sales Assistant as required.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary administrative training or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a customer service setting or similar role.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Reynolds and Reynolds & 180 System computer experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse clientele.

Compensation: $18.00-19.00 hourly

Work Environment:

Brian Jessel BMW operates on the following schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Friday: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Saturday: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Sunday and Statutory Holidays: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
