Job Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Maintenance Specialist to join our team at PTAG. As a key member of our Program Management Firm, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support, leadership, and guidance to the EIT/IM team.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled electrical maintenance professional with experience in instrumentation calibration and control. You will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, calibrate, alter/modify, and make installations to building electrical power distribution and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities for predictive and corrective maintenance and assist in work order allocation and scheduling.
  • Coordinate work activities involving outside contractors, including escorting contractors and overseeing work performed on-site.
  • Determine the impact of work and communicate with department management and customers to schedule activities that minimize disruption to production schedules.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, calibrate, alter/modify, and make installations to building electrical power distribution and control systems.
  • Use various test instruments to diagnose problems, determine electrical load and power quality.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7+ years of previous electrical maintenance experience with instrumentation calibration and control experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Electrical Systems, including PLC's, generators, Large UPS units, transformers, switchgear, controllers, electronic circuits, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems or other transmission equipment.
  • Strong Leadership skills and well-developed interpersonal skills.
