Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Beauty Salon Operations Manager to lead our team at nolaSalon.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and control daily salon operations, ensuring seamless client experience and efficient staff management.
  • Evaluate daily performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Plan and organize daily schedules, including staff assignments and resource allocation.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for staff, fostering a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the budget and inventory, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Oversee contracts for advertising and marketing strategies, driving business growth and brand awareness.
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff, developing their skills and abilities to meet the salon's needs.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.

 

Requirements

To be successful as a Beauty Salon Operations Manager, you will require:

  • A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a beauty salon or related industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate data and make informed decisions.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on education and training relevant to the beauty industry.
  • The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
  • Familiarity with salon software and systems, including scheduling, inventory management, and payment processing.

 

What We Offer

nolaSalon offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
