The Venues Assistant Manager is a critical role at the Accor Hotel, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Velvet Glove Restaurant and Lounge In Room Dining and Refreshment Center. As a key member of the Food and Beverage team, this position plays a vital part in ensuring the overall success of all areas, including the performance of colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operation of the Restaurant, Lounge In Room Dining and Refreshment Centre, working closely with the F&B Outlets Manager to maintain a high level of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service and increase F&B revenues and profitability through creative initiatives and innovative promotions.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, focusing on their growth, satisfaction, and ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen, banquets, and hotel leaders to promote a strong service culture and teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with Fairmont Food and Beverage Core Standards and maintain a first-class visual impact for the Outlets, including ambiance, cleanliness, orderliness, decor, and service flows.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience.
  • Degree in F&B or Hotel Management.
  • Exceptional knowledge of wine and beer.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Excel, MS Office software, and Micros.
  • A team player with versatility, flexibility, stress management skills, and a passion for guest service and excellent customer service skills.
  • Smart Server responsible liquor service certification required.

Salary Estimate: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
