Drafting and Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Technician to join our team at Tarra Engineering and Structural Consultants Inc. This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering design and drafting, with excellent skills in reading blueprints and preparing technical documents.
About the Role- This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team, providing expert technical support and assistance to clients.
- Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software;
- Reviewing and interpreting blueprints to determine work requirements;
- Developing and preparing design sketches and technical reports;
- Coordinating with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects;
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to clients.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience in drafting or a related field;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
- Familiarity with CAD software and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
