About the Role

GTA Urban Development Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities
    • Oversee the work of construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Coordinate and schedule activities to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Train and Develop Team Members
    • Provide training and guidance to construction team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement training programs to enhance team performance.
  • Ensure Health and Safety
    • Develop and implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage Resources
    • Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Review and Evaluate Performance
    • Review and evaluate the performance of construction teams to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement plans to improve team performance and achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Work Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a construction supervisory role.
