- Maintain a safe working environment by masking and taping auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
- Hammertime out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers, requiring attention to detail and precision.
- Apply primers and repaint surfaces to achieve a flawless finish, blending colors as needed.
- Repair or replace interior components, such as upholstery and trim.
- Mix paint, blend, and match colors to ensure a perfect match.
- Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams, demonstrating expertise in various techniques.
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and physical stamina to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
In addition to a competitive salary, we offer group insurance benefits and a permanent work term.
Hours of work are approximately 40 hours per week, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
