Senior Corporate Financial Analyst

Our client, a leading CPG company, is seeking a Senior Corporate Financial Analyst to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for conducting financial planning, analyzing financial statements, and developing financial models to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with FP&A and Shared Services Centre teams to provide deeper analysis and interpretation of financial results.
- Oversee month-end closing, including journal entries, reconciliations, and report preparation using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
- Lead annual planning, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis for SG&A, Free Cashflow, and Working Capital, in partnership with department heads.
- Present key financial KPIs and budget-to-actual variance reports to the CFO and ownership group.
- Analyze balance sheet and operating results, investigate variances, and ensure timely and accurate entries.
- Support ad hoc projects, including acquisition integration, process improvements, and regulatory reporting.
- Assist with audits by preparing analyses, reconciliations, and acting as a primary point of contact.
- Coordinate global intercompany reconciliations to improve efficiency.
- Research and resolve accounting issues as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a focus in Accounting (CPA designation or near completion is a MUST).
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in auditing large companies at a public accounting firm (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and results-driven with a strong work ethic.
- Effective team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
