Warehouse Laborer Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Laborer to join our team at Western Star Trucks. As a Warehouse Laborer, you will be responsible for supporting our warehouse operations and assisting with delivery and pickup duties when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming orders by unloading carriers and couriers.
  • Inspect the condition of incoming freight and denote damages as required.
  • Complete orders in priority sequence and shelve all orders.
  • Ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
  • Ensure pick lists are processed in a timely fashion.
  • Utilize available tools and technologies to improve efficiency.
  • Pull and fill orders from stock for deliveries ensuring accuracy and labels.
  • Puts stock away in their proper locations.
  • Load and unload customer vehicles: May need forklift.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized.
  • Package cores and returns for shipment.
  • Inventory cycle counting as per schedule.
  • Learn and retain product codes and placement in warehouse.
  • Assist Customers and co-workers and all areas of the warehouse as required.
  • Provide a high level of customer service in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Report all safety concerns, accidents or incidents to supervisor or Manager immediately.
  • Deliver/Pick up parts orders as required when back filling Delivery Drivers.
  • Cross train where applicable
  • Help Maintain Elite Support Certification
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
