We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Lawyer to join our team at Boyce Law. As a Junior Lawyer, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of real estate transactions, including research, drafting legal documents, and collaborating with senior lawyers and paralegals.
Key Responsibilities- Real Estate Transactions: Handle all aspects of real estate transactions, including researching and drafting legal documents, and collaborating with senior lawyers and paralegals.
- Wills and Estates: Assist in drafting wills and estate planning documents, and provide support as needed.
- Research and Writing: Conduct research and write memos on relevant aspects of law, and draft legal documents such as contracts, affidavits, and statutory declarations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with senior lawyers and paralegals, and provide support as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Law or Juris Doctor (JD)
- Membership: Active Membership in the Law Society of Alberta or eligible to immediately become an Active Member of the Law Society of Alberta
- Skills: Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures, excellent writing and communication skills, and proficiency in writing clear and concise legal documents
