Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at River Guard Construction Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our construction team with various tasks, including loading and unloading materials, performing pre-operational inspections, and reading blueprints to determine work requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on construction techniques
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding workload. The job requires attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work well in a team.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: Will train
  • Ability to work at heights and in noisy environments
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic
Benefits
