Digital Communications Specialist for Executive Affairs

The Government of Northwest Territories is seeking a highly skilled Digital Communications Specialist to join the Corporate Communications team within the Department of Executive and Indigenous Affairs.
This role plays a critical part in supporting the strategic and efficient public communications across the GNWT by working with colleagues to consistently plan, implement, and monitor communications activities within an ever-changing communications landscape.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team that provides timely, accurate, and consistent digital communications advice and project support across the Government of the Northwest Territories in accordance with the GNWT Communications Policy and supporting directives, guidelines, and processes.
This includes providing advice and support across Corporate Communications' digital service business lines, monitoring, and compliance, ensuring that the GNWT web and digital communications are consistent, data-driven, evidence-based, and follow the Visual Identity Program (VIP).
To be successful in this role, you will typically need a diploma in technology, digital marketing, social media, or a related field, and two (2) years of relevant digital/social media experience.

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
