About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team at Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office. As a key leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies that optimize profitability within our asset-based transportation division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies that optimize profitability within our asset-based transportation division.
  • Conduct market analysis and monitor industry trends to adjust pricing models proactively.
  • Lead business intelligence efforts by creating, maintaining, and improving data models, dashboards, and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze the financial performance of transportation services, identifying revenue leakage, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for margin improvement.
  • Prepare regular pricing performance reports, including profitability analysis, pricing elasticity, and market competitiveness.
  • Support annual budget planning and forecasting activities for transportation operations.
  • Collaborate with finance, sales, operations, and customer service teams to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Communicate pricing strategies and market conditions to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of analysts responsible for pricing and business intelligence functions.
  • Research and implement innovative technologies and practices to enhance pricing accuracy and business intelligence capabilities.
  • Drive process efficiencies and cost reductions through data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
  • ~7+ years of experience in pricing, data analytics, or business intelligence, preferably in transportation or supply chain logistics.
  • ~ Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing pricing strategies in an asset-based transportation environment.
  • ~ Proficient in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • ~ Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and data modeling tools.
  • ~ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
