Job Description

FortisAlberta Inc is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join their team in Airdrie. As a key member of the Supply Chain department, this role will be responsible for creating, writing, and maintaining accurate and professional contracts and tenders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain contracts that comply with current legal standards and corporate policies.
  • Negotiate, interpret, and resolve disputes related to contractual arrangements.
  • Pre-qualify contractors and suppliers, and coach internal departments and external suppliers on the pre-qualification process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business or a related field, plus at least 5 years of supply chain experience.
  • Proven track record in contracts management, including creating contracts, issuing RFx, and evaluating tenders.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office applications, with SAP knowledge an asset.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental coverage, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
