Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Gardening Professional to join our team at Fairmont Chateau Whistler. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the hotel's gardens and grounds are meticulously maintained and visually stunning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to our guests by consistently offering a professional and friendly greeting.
  • Groom and tend to gardens, ensuring a high level of aesthetic quality throughout the hotel property.
  • Operate mechanical and power equipment utilized in the maintenance of ornamental plants and trees.
  • Assist in overseeing daily operations of the Gardening Department (Senior Gardener).
Requirements
  • Knowledge of the characteristics and cultural requirements of ornamental plants, shrubs, and trees adapted to the region is an asset.
  • Must have knowledge and experience or skills in basic gardening or other horticulture-related areas.
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's license with a clean record is required.
