We are seeking a skilled Baggage Handler to join our team at the Best Western Plus St John’s Airport Hotel & Suites. As a Baggage Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth arrival and departure of our guests’ luggage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convey travellers’ luggage by hand or hand truck
  • Arrange for ground transportation
  • Address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Escort incoming guests to their rooms
  • Handle luggage for hotel guests
  • Maintain luggage storage area
  • Provide information regarding features of rooms, service of hotel and points of interest
  • Provide, arrange for, or refer guests to valet parking services

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • or equivalent experience

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary work term
  • 35 to 40 hours per week
