Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified Research Faculty Member to join our team at the Peter A. Allard School of Law. As part of the University's commitment to diversity and inclusion, this appointment is part of the Black Faculty Cohort Hiring Initiative.

The successful candidate will have a strong research record and a demonstrated ability to teach in the core curriculum of the Allard School of Law. They will be expected to provide effective teaching and mentoring of JD and graduate students, and to assume leadership roles within the School of Law.

The Allard School of Law is committed to excellence in legal education and research. We offer a dynamic and inclusive environment for scholars and students to study law and its role in society.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and publish scholarly articles
  • Teach in the core curriculum of the Allard School of Law
  • Assume leadership roles within the School of Law
  • Contribute to the development of the School's research agenda

Requirements:

  • JD, LLB, or equivalent law degree
  • Completed or substantially completed doctoral degree in Law or a related discipline
  • Strong research record and a demonstrated ability to teach in the core curriculum of the Allard School of Law
