The salary for this position is estimated to be $170,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.

Job Description

This is a full-time veterinarian position in our emergency department. As an emergency veterinarian, you will work closely with our specialty services to deliver the highest standard of medicine.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid DVM degree or equivalent, enabling practice in Canada
  • Completed a small animal internship or have 2 years of in-hospital emergency experience
  • Leadership skills combined with a positive, team-player attitude
  • Excellent diagnostic and critical care skills
  • Exemplary client service skills
  • Organizational skills, which allow you to work efficiently under pressure
  • The drive and ability to train and mentor our emergency team
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts and rotate through weekends and statutory holidays
