Job Title: Tile Installer

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at TF Renovations. As a Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing tile surfaces in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring and marking walls and floors.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials to ensure a strong bond between tiles and surfaces.
  • Set tiles in place, aligning and straightening them to ensure a professional finish.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs.
  • Install tile strips and other flooring materials.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail is essential to ensure a high-quality finish.
Personal Suitability:
  • Judgement and problem-solving skills are necessary to overcome challenges on the job site.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
