Key Responsibilities
Develop New Sales Territory and Client Relationships
- Enhance the growth of the assigned territory by identifying and engaging new customers.
- Employ effective sales strategies during outreach efforts, ensuring clear communication of the company's brand and market positioning.
- Arrange meetings with key stakeholders in potential client organizations.
- Continuously assess sales performance against objectives and provide comprehensive updates.
- Guide prospects through the sales process to secure new business opportunities.
- Utilize technical knowledge to showcase value during the sales process.
- Prepare and conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations as needed.

- Build relationships with multiple contacts within active accounts.
- Conduct meetings with key personnel in existing client organizations.
- Keep the sales pipeline updated with qualified opportunities.
- Research and deliver presentations and product demonstrations as necessary.
- Foster customer relationships through engagement at industry events.
- Review sales reports to identify trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure CRM is updated with accurate customer information.
Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends and competitive actions.
- Develop expertise in the end-product industry through networking and research.
- Leverage industry knowledge to provide innovative solutions for customer needs.
Internal Collaboration
- Maintain regular communication with Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing teams to meet customer requirements.
- Assist marketing in creating tools for launching new or improved products.
- Participate in meetings to discuss key accounts and prioritize activities for growth.
- Support internal teams as necessary.
Administrative Duties
- Arrange travel as needed within the designated region.
- Complete expense reports as required.
- Promote the company's culture and values through personal conduct.
- Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Business, or a related field.
- Five to ten years of sales experience in the industry, with a focus on technical expertise.
- Established relationships within the industry are preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects into clients through collaboration.
- Strong business acumen and customer service orientation.
- Proficient in CRM systems and sales documentation.
- Team-oriented with a self-motivated and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage changing priorities effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to ethical professional conduct.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Valid Driver's License.
