Job Title: Early Childhood Educator - Child Development Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator - Child Development Specialist to join our team at Ocean Rain International Daycare Center Inc. The ideal candidate will have a passion for child development and a commitment to providing a nurturing environment that promotes physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children

Requirements:

  • Criminal record check
  • Availability for shift or on-call work
  • Availability for the advertised start date
  • Legal ability to work in Canada
