Job Description:

Trueline Valve Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Technician Level 2 to join our team in the West Island of Montreal. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and processing invoices from suppliers, assigning and coding invoices/bills/expense claims according to company policy.
  • Matching purchase orders to each invoice, preparing and cutting checks or making wire transfers.
  • Reviewing expense claims and ensuring expenses are accurate and that members are reimbursed accordingly.
  • Organizing and maintaining files for contracts, vendors, and accounts payable.
  • Assisting with accounts receivable and other accounting activities as required in a team working environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum D.E.P. or D.E.C. in business and accounting.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position, including tasks such as full cycle accounts payable, government remittances, and experience with EPICOR or other ERP systems.
  • Bilingual - French and English.
  • MS Office and intermediate Excel skills.
  • Positive attitude, highly organized, and good communication skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
