Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Mother's Helper to join our team at Chantal Desjardins. As a key member of our household support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children and family.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Follow parents' lead with toilet training and provide guidance on personal hygiene and social development.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and preferences.
  • Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents, promoting positive behavior and development.
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, ensuring a peaceful and restful atmosphere.
  • Cook and manage household tasks, working efficiently to meet the needs of our family.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Flexibility, reliability, time management, and honesty are essential qualities for this position.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English or French.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
