Furniture Handler

Barrault Home Furnishings is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Furniture Handler. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
The ideal candidate will have no degree, certificate, or diploma, but will be willing to learn and train. You will work in a retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre, operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
- Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
- Providing customer service
- Packing and unpacking goods
- Installing, lashing, and securing goods
- Transporting and distributing materials and goods
- Organizing and maintaining inventory
Requirements include a valid driver's licence, ability to handle heavy loads, and physical demands of the job. The work term is permanent, with 30-40 hours per week. Health benefits are also available.
